This is a no-frills, no-gimmick, no-nonsense look into Econs Soc Camp- Adventure Party Exploration(ESCAPE for short).

Good day. I'm the Camp director, Ng Ying Tat. I am assisted by my Vice Camp Director, Jasmine Ong. Be careful. She bites.

The Camp aims to impart to our young aspiring freshmen leadership skills, teamwork and also the fine art of espionage. The training will take place in 3 phases.

First, before we can start any serious training, we will have to build our team spirit and loyalty to the society. For wasn't it our great leader Weining who said," To reach greater heights, stand on hard ground first" The team is the foundation and from there each member can then excel. Only with a strong team could we reach our goals and exceed our expectation. For these purposes, we have planned the following activities for you.

Not-So-Amazing Race NUS
Location: Various not-so-amazing spots in NUS
Description: A spin off from the highly acclaimed Amazing Race, teams in our version do almost the same thing. In this activity you get to 1) Explore the School Campus! 2) Play Hilarious & Challenging Games! and finally, 3) Discover your true inner self..Hmmm...

A Walk to Remember
Location: Guess?
Description: Don't worry! This is not a "Secret Pal" game sponsered by SDU! It is, on the contrary, a solitary affair which features dark alleys!, challenges! and a long walk you will definitely remember!

Night of the Werewolf
Location: Classified
Description: Not everyone is who they claim they are. Who can you trust? Will you be able to survive the Night of the Werewolf? (Note: this is NOT Fright night. Its a hilarious game where we all sit around, laugh and point fingers)

Ok. That's all I'm allowed to reveal for now. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates!

Camp Director, Out.

it was FASS open house yesterday, and we put in a great deal of hard work in preparation. and tAA dAA~ here's the fruits of our labour:

the theme for this year is Academy Awards. since it is Hollywood-related, the main colours used are supposed to give a glam feeling. thus, the colours used are gold and white.

since it is academy awards, how can we forget the walkway of fame? this is our one and only walkway of fame in NUS, and it is only pertinent to economics. the names appeared on the stars are famous economists. together with the stars on the floor, the balloons along the corridor drew a lot of attention from the people. there's a lot of people who took pictures of these stuff.

inside the room, the boards were made to look like cinema posters. we also spoofed the movie posters to make it related to economics.

here are our spoofed posters. personally i like the survivor one best.

of course, all these things are not possible without help from our members.

i want to say a BIG thank you to those who helped out. THANKS SO MUCH!
